Mario Serpa
Mario Serpa holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Católica de Brasília, with an MBA in Finance and Capital Markets from EPGE/FGV. He also studied at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and took Physics and Civil Engineering at Universidade de Brasília. Mario has experience in banking, broker-dealers and pension funds, spanning over 25 years of treasury and portfolio management (fixed income and equities). He was Financial Director at FUNCEF, member of Board of Directors and Fiscal Committees of large corporates, financial and non-financial institutions, as well as CEO of Interfloat Investments and Managing Director of Planner Holding. Mario is a frequent lecturer and speaker at Conferences and Symposiums, and is co-author of the first book dedicated to Risk Management in Brazil (Gestão de Riscos no Brasil – FCE/2003).
Selma Serpa
Selma Serpa is a PhD and Master in management from Universidade de Brasília (UnB) with over 30 years of experience as auditor of the Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts, where she led the development and implementation of operational audit methodology as Secretary for Evaluation and Audit of Public Programs. Selma is a professor and advisor in graduate and undergraduate courses and has written multiple articles on public program auditing and evaluation. Currently, provides consulting services in program management, control and evaluation for domestic and international entities. To explore new professional perspectives, Selma has specialized in interior design and has delivered many projects of her creation. Within interior design, she has studied coverings and participates in multiple national and international fairs and conferences, analyzing innovations and opportunities.
Felipe Serpa
Felipe Serpa is an Economist from the University of Chicago with a minor in Statistics. He began his professional career in banking at HSBC and BTG Pactual, where he structured fixed income and hybrid products for Brazilian and Latin American companies. He was responsible for multiple treasury, capital markets and financial governance projects at Votorantim Cimentos, where he also led an international corporate reorganization for the company. Felipe structured the international investments strategy at Votorantim S.A., where he was Portfolio Risk Manager, and was a member of multiple finance committees of portfolio companies.
